Private Driver from Orlando: Broward County (H–W)

The second half of the Broward alphabet lives here, H through W, thirty-six rows that each open a private Orlando booking. Nearly all of them begin at $550 for the whole vehicle; the one exception, a Sawgrass Mills shopping run that starts in Miami instead, sits at $35 and follows its own logic. Everything else is the identical product: your party alone in the car, one driver door to door, a fare attached to the vehicle rather than the head count.

Why does one row start at $35 when the rest say $550?

Because that line is not an Orlando departure at all. The Sawgrass Mills entry leaves from Miami and carries its own rate, which is why it reads oddly beside the long haul down the peninsula.

Can the car stop along the way south?

A comfort stop on a drive this length is expected and gets built into the timing. A real detour is different: a second address, or a wait while somebody runs an errand, changes how long the vehicle is committed, so mention it before the day rather than at the wheel.

What time of day do these southbound runs leave?

Whichever hour suits you. Departures follow your schedule rather than a timetable, pre-dawn starts included, which is how groups reach Broward before the morning build-up. Small-hours slots can carry a surcharge, quoted before you commit.

Where he collects you, and where he sets you down

Collection is at whatever Orlando address you give: a resort porte-cochere, a vacation rental, a private street. At the far end he pulls up to the equivalent door: hotel entrance, condo lobby, a house number on a residential block. Gated communities are worth naming in advance, with a code if there is one, so the car is not idling at a call box while your check-in window slides.

Reading this half of the map

Alphabetically it is the back end of the county; geographically it spreads wide. Pompano Beach and Lauderdale-by-the-Sea hold the ocean side, Weston sits out west against the Everglades boundary, and Pembroke Pines fills the southern band. The drive works Florida’s Turnpike, and the western towns come off it earlier than the coastal ones do. For a wider state itinerary Visit Florida sketches the rest; the city government site covers the urban core.

Matching the car to the crowd

Headcount rules the choice: five and under is SUV work, six to nine calls for the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, ten through fourteen needs the long-wheelbase version. On a haul like this, legroom counts for more than it would on a short transfer, so a group sitting at the top edge of a class usually rides better in the next one up. Send numbers and dates to the driver over WhatsApp; half the total holds the vehicle, the balance is cash on arrival.
